Boldt Machinery, Inc. is a family-owned, full-service machine tool distributor and solution provider based in Erie, Pennsylvania. Boldt opened the doors for business in 1953 by the father/son partnership of Arthur E. and Arthur S. Boldt.

For over 55 years we have proudly served customers in western Pennsylvania, upstate New York and West Virginia. Boldt Machinery, now encompasses 2 facilities; in Erie, PA, and Syracuse NY, under the direction of Gary Boldt, Mike Ahrens (President), and Bob Meade (Vice President /Service Manager).

Our main office in Erie, Pennsylvania consists of 19,000 square feet of space. This area is divided between the various departments with up to half of it available for machine demos and engineered projects. The Syracuse office is comprised of 9,000 square feet of space.

Our support teams are the best in the business and as a distributor we represent the best of machine tool manufacturers and accessories. Boldt employs 10 field technicians, 4 in-house service/parts specialists and 4 application engineers with an engineering manager providing phone support for any programming or technical questions.

Our line-up includes, DMG/Mori Seiki, Milltronics, and so much more. Boldt has maintained long-term relationships with our manufacturers, thus creating strong working relationships with each of them. This allows us serve our customers at the highest level possible.

OCTOBER 30, 1978
On this date, Boldt Machinery made its first sale of a Mori Seiki CNC Machine. This machine is still in operation today in Fairview, PA.


JULY 13, 1976
On this date, Boldt sold it's first Mori Seiki Lathe, a MR-1500 G (Manual engine lathe), still in operation today.

Gary Boldt and Boldt Machinery are proud to support this year's Bay Swim, provided by the Presque Isle Partnership and the Erie Yacht Club.

This is the 3rd Annual Swim in Presque Isle Bay celebrating Erie's greatest natural resources! For more information, please follow this link: BAY SWIM III INFO.

All BaySwim proceeds will benefit Presque Isle State Park, the Erie County Diabetes Association, and the Reyburn Sailing School.
